HEALTHBAR – Visit the Healthbar in the green sea container at Wesfarmers Court (near Angazi Cafe) for free tea tastings, health activities and Qigong classes every day of the week. Have a warming Prana Chai in the morning, join a health talk at 12.00pm, breathing exercises at 1.00pm and a daily tea ceremony at 2.00pm . The Heathbar timetable can be found here
FACES OF CURTIN – All week come and see the Faces of Curtin Exhibition on the North wall of Building 207. The exhibition, by Curtin Photography students captures portraits of staff and students on campus.
Wednesday 26 October
STUDENT FILMS – Short documentary and drama films will be screened on Wednesday 26 October in The Forum, from 7.00pm. These films are produced by first and second year Screen Arts students, so head down to The Forum, grab some free popcorn and support your fellow Curtin students! Beanbags are available – first in best dressed.
PILATES – Free Pilates class! Come down to Alcoa Court at 12:30pm for a holistic and strengthening work out that will leave you feeling centred and balanced, perfect for a mid-week pick up! Please bring a mat and bottle of water.
FOOD MARKETS – Curtin’s Food Markets are on every Wednesday until 2 November, from 11.30am to 2.30pm in Lower Henderson. Stalls are: Cili Padi, Juice Day, Ragin Cajun, Turkish Tucker, El Aleman Loco, Las Empanadas, Sweet Dream Foods, Tapasman and Tasty Bytes. Pull up a deckchair and listen to the live music while you eat a delicious lunch!
FROMAGE WORKSHOP – Festival Fromage 2016 is hitting Perth City very soon. Get a preview of some of the events being held at our markets workshop. Learn the basics of cheese making, interact with our cheese maker and have all your questions about cheese answered! This workshop is being held alongside the weekly Curtin Food Markets, from 12.30pm to 1.30pm in Lower Henderson Court.
GET CREATIVE – Head down to the Food Markets on Wednesday 26 October from 11.30am to 2.30pm to create colourful peace flags. This project launched on the International Day of Peace and concludes this week. Nicolette Smith is hosting the workshop and will create an art installation piece for the campus multi-faith prayer room using your individual flags!

SURE SHOT TRICKSTERS – Sure Shot Tricksters are a local martial arts tricking group. With years of experience and hours of practice between them, they are not to be missed! The Sure Shot Tricksters will be demonstrating their tricks and leading workshops on Thursday 27 October in Lower Henderson from 12.00pm to 2.00pm. Wear comfortable clothing if you want to participate. If you don’t want to give it a go we recommend coming down to watch!

PARASITIC STRUCTURES EXHIBITION – Interior Architecture students are holding an exhibition of Parasitic Structures they have designed and built. Stop by to view the exhibition between 9.00am-12.00pm in Building 201, and outside in Alcoa Court, on Friday 28 October . Buy your coffee from Juice Face in Alcoa Court and receive a free power ball!
