Curtin Campus Garden Tour
Join us on the Curtin Campus Garden Tour this Tuesday 28 March! Enjoy a guided tour by garden expert Emma Britten-Jones and discover the historic beauty behind the Edible Garden, Japanese Garden, Shade Garden, and the Native Garden. Learn all about water-wise species that can be grown in your own garden and discover Curtin’s best green spaces for study, relaxation, recreation and reflection while ensuring a diversity of native plants that attract wildlife. Emma is a horticulturalist working for Parks and Gardens at Curtin University, as well as a television host on Channel 9’s Garden Gurus Waterwise Garden Series.
Wear comfortable walking shoes and meet at the Green Gardening Cube in Atkinson Forum at 12.00pm on Tuesday 28 March. The approximate duration is 1 hour and 15 minutes. See you there!
Join us for the second round of Curtin University’s Food Markets this Wednesday 29 March! The markets will be held in Lower Henderson from 11.30am – 2.30pm, and will continue on selective Wednesday’s throughout semester. The remaining Food Markets will be held on April 5, April 26, May 3, and May 10.

Food Markets Chocolate Workshop
There will be a Free Chocolate Making Workshop this Wednesday 29 March. Held in Lower Henderson from 12.30pm – 1.30pm, join the talented Sue Lewis from Sue Lewis Chocolatier to discover the fine art of making artisan chocolate. Learn how to make hand-crafted gourmet chocolate using only the finest ingredients. Sue is committed to making chocolate that reflects fine, sustainable and ethically sourced chocolate, with local ingredients to support local producers. Free chocolate samples will be available throughout the workshop.
Paint your own T-Shirt
Have a go at painting your own t-shirt on Thursday 30 March! T-shirts and craft supplies will be provided for you to use for free. Head down to Henderson Court from 12.00pm – 2.00pm.
Aardvark Roaming Jazz Band
Look out for our roaming jazz musicians around campus this Thursday 30 March. Watch as they play their toe-tapping, feel-good Jazz standards!
Free Weekly Yoga Classes
Free yoga classes are held every Wednesday at The Forum from 12.30-1.30pm. No registration needed, just come down with your yoga-mat or towel for an invigorating workout to bring your body into its ultimate state of harmony and balance. Beginners, intermediates, experts – you’re all welcome. See you there!
