The Bike Doctor

The Bike Doctor will be back at The Hexagon this Thursday 2 March. Make the most of your free check-up between 11.00am – 1.00pm and bring your bike in to have fixed on the spot! He’s not back again until June so don’t miss your chance.

The next two weeks will see Sanditecture activities gracing Alcoa Court. An array of impressive student-made sand sculptures will rise from the grounds of Alcoa Court on the main sculpting day on Thursday 9 March. The Sanditecture sculpting day will run from 9.00am – 4.00pm, showcasing talented works from students in teams and individually. You can expect to see interior architecture students carefully sculpt a detailed 3D abstraction of a famous building made only of sand. Also keep an eye out for skilled sand sculptural artist Tim Darby, who will be in amongst the action to showcase his very own sandy masterpiece. There will also be a have-a-go zone for anyone looking to get involved on the main sculpting day on Thursday 9 March. If you would like to register your interest for the have-a-go zone please email otherwise just come along on the day.

Free Yoga Classes

Free yoga classes are back for the semester, with the first session commencing this week on Wednesday 1 March. Classes will be held every Wednesday at The Forum from 12.30-1.30pm, so come down with your yoga-mat and towel for a free invigorating workout to bring your body into its ultimate state of harmony and balance. Beginners, intermediates, experts – you’re all welcome. See you there!

Navigate your way around campus to uncover secret geocaches. Interactive, fun and clever caches are hiding everywhere…some may be easy but others you may have to work a little harder for. Download the FREE geocaching app, sign up and start searching – who knows what you will find!

Are you a Pokemon hunter?  Check out our Pokemon map!

Are you a student or staff member on campus?  Do you sing and play acoustic guitar, dance, act, juggle, walk on stilts, do stand-up comedy?  Would you like to share your talent to make Curtin a greater place?  If you said yes, please register your interest by completing our expression of interest form.

Hi Is it possible to speak to someone about the performers costs and contact details please? The Professionals @ Curtin group will be having an end of financial year function and we were thinking of seeing whether one of the performers used by Park’d Performers might be available to provide some light entertainment. Thanks!

    • Curtin University says:

    Hey Guys,
    Under Park’d Performances at Curtin:

3, 10, 17 & 24 March – Check out the Food Markets in Henderson Court every Friday in March.

    Those dates are Thursdays.
