Proposed Government changes to student fees are coming soon

News story

If you’re studying in a Commonwealth Supported Place (CSP), your 2018 tuition fees will now be charged in January 2018, instead of at time of enrolment.

Earlier this year, the Australian Government proposed a range of reforms to the Higher Education sector. Subject to the passing of legislation, there may be changes in 2018 that will affect your tuition fees.

If you’re studying in a Commonwealth Supported Place (CSP):

  • Your 2018 tuition fees will now be charged in January 2018, instead of at time of enrolment.
  • You will be notified through your Official Communication Channel (OCC) in January 2018, where you will be able to view your tuition fees and generate your eInvoice.
  • This guide to the 2018 tuition fees shows the maximum student contribution amounts for each field of study.

Check your Official Communication Channel (OCC) now for further details.

Updates on these changes will be provided to you over the coming months through your Official Communications Channel (OCC) when it becomes available.
