This year Curtin is working hard to raise $35,000 for the Leukaemia Foundation… and we want you to be a part of it!
Today, 34 Australians will be given the devastating news that they have leukaemia, lymphoma or myeloma, and they’ll turn to the Leukaemia Foundation for help.
Join us in raising funds and awareness for the Leukaemia Foundation by shaving, colouring (comes out in the first wash), or completing the pony tail chop on Thursday 22 March 2018. This year as an added bonus, Sustainable Salons are recycling the shaved hair from participants to make wigs for those with cancer.
To join up, shave or colour, or donate, visit the Curtin team Fundraising page and then contact Team Leader Maureen Meredith to book a time. Everyone who registers as a participant in the Curtin team, and raises $100 or more will go into the draw to win $100 Coles/Myers voucher!
Consider helping on the day by registering to colour participants’ hair and collecting donations.
Hairdressers will shave or colour participants’ hair outside Curtin Connect, Building 102, Bentley Campus, between 11am and 2pm on Thursday 22 March 2018.
