This year’s NAIDOC theme “Heal Country!” calls for a deeper understanding of Country and what it means to First Nations people. It calls for the recognition of Country as more than a place, but rather as something inherent to the identity of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in every aspect – spiritually, physically, emotionally, socially, and culturally.
