Dr Issa will discuss what an ethical mindset is, variables that influence these mindsets and how maintaining an ethical mindset might assist in solving complex challenges that might lead to a better society.

Dr Theodora Issa comes to academia from the Financial World where she served as a High-Ranking Executive in an International Bank for several years. In academia, Theodora has been a curriculum leader and a leader of a range of research groups. Theodora is the author and co-author of several journal articles, reports, edited books, textbooks, books, case studies, conference papers, conference proceedings, book chapters and magazine articles. Theodora’s major area of research focuses on ethical mindsets, spirituality, and aesthetics. She is currently an Associate Editor of the Journal of Business Ethics – A European Review (BE:ER), member of the Associate Editors team of Management, Religion and Spirituality, Annual Scholarly Program 2017 of Academy of Management and a guest co-editor for the special issue of Management Research in Review: Innovative Research Methods in Management, Spirituality and Religion through an invitation received from the Academy of Management, USA. In addition, Theodora is a co-chair and organiser of international conferences, co-editor of conference proceedings, a reviewer of several conference papers and journals.
