We have a food van which we are keen to get involved at Curtin. Who can we speak with about the products we offer and registering our interest for Semester 1 next year.

  2. Curtin University says:

Hi Sue, yes, the markets are still on Wednesdays and we’ve passed your details onto the organisers who will email you directly.

  3. Rochelle says:

Can you please promptly update the Park’d website?! in particular the numerous new food trucks descriptions and the new locations?
It gets very frustrating not being able to find the food van you want or to not know what a food van delivers in choices without walking all over campus and taking up a whole lunch break to find out you don’t want it.

    • Curtin University says:

Hi Rochelle, the new vans and their descriptions have been added to the list of vans and Atkinson Forum has been added to the locations map. Feel free to ask any questions you have about the vans in these comments or on the Park’d Facebook page. – Emily

  4. Talei Howell-Price says:

Hi Katie, thank you for your interest! Registrations to be a part of the Food Truck/Cart program in 2016 have closed, and participants have already been selected and notified. EOI’s will open again on 2 January 2017 so please keep an eye on this page, although I will e-mail you directly to let you know. Food stall applications for our markets are still open, please register here.

  5. Eleanor Morgan says:

Hi. I don’t see the map that has the food stall locations on it anymore. Where is Creative Corner? And the Henderson Hexagon? And the Sculpture Garden? Please point me in the right direction!

    • Talei Howell-Price says:

Hi Eleanor – we have now placed a map on the page hopefully this helps! Creative Corner is the old Speakers Corner, Henderson Hexagon is right in the middle of campus outside building 109 and Sculpture Garden is next to building 402.

      • Eleanor Morgan says:

Thank you, the map is very useful :-)!

  6. Adam Nevin says:

Great tasting cheese melt with jalapenos from Guerilla Foods today, as long as you don’t get offput by the accompanying corn chips being thrown on the plate by the guy’s bare hand and not his gloved hand.

    • Talei Howell-Price says:

Hi Adam! Just letting you know I will pass this comment on to The Melt Hub to ensure the gloved hand is used! Please note this was not Guerrilla Foods.

      • Adam Nevin says:

        Melt Hub indeed. My mistake.

  7. Sarah Wright says:

Thank you for having the food trucks come over to Technology Park, there are very limited food options over here. Hopefully if the crowd gets big enough you might be able to send one over every day.

    • Talei Howell-Price says:

You are welcome Sarah! Please help spread the word 🙂 We will be doing a flier drop soon and looking to get signage over there as well. Hope you don’t mind if we send you a flier to post up in the staff kitchen room!

  8. Talei Howell-Price says:

Hi! Thanks for your interest! Registrations to be a part of the Food Truck program in 2016 have now closed. EOI’s will open again on 2 January 2017 so please keep an eye on our facebook page parkd_at_curtin and also this website.

  9. David Johnson says:

Hi Leesa- I have friends who run a family owned ice-cream and coffee van. I’m not to sure what type of food vans you are interested in having or the type of event but can you please keep in mind my close friends business if you do require food trucks. Peter the owner can be contacted on 0438948279 or emailed at They also have a website which is and their facebook page is Thankyou. Kind Regards David Johnson

  10. Clara says:

    Hi there,

What time are the food trucks around until?

    • Talei Howell-Price says:

All trucks should be on campus until 3pm.

  11. Marko says:

The Pasta Truck is nowhere to be seen in Technology Park today. Not angry, just disappointed…

  12. Lindsay says:

Is it me or is the Pasta truck often not where it is advertised to be?! Today we went to the hexagon to go there and there was only Greek Streats, (where I got a lovely kebab instead!) This has happened before with this van?

    • Talei Howell-Price says:

Hi Lindsay – unfortunately three of our trucks didn’t turn up today because of potential hail, I update as they tell me but sometimes I am not told. Glad you enjoyed the kebab!

  13. Maddie says:

I love the food truck initiative, it’s fantastic! The Melt Hub is a particular favourite – best sandwiches EVER.

  14. Talei Howell-Price says:

    Hi Nicola
Please keep an eye on this website. EOI’s will open from November and will be selected in January.

  15. Renato Perera says:

Best 10$ I’ve spent on food here, at The Melt Hub. Delicious pork and potato sandwich.

  16. Anna says:

The Melt Hub cannot be beaten! Delicious sandwich every time – vegetarian options too.

  17. Rachael says:

Hi – what has happened to this week’s schedule? It’s a bit early to be planning next week’s meals…I still have to make it through Friday!

  18. Cara says:

The list has been updated too early and now I can’t see what trucks are on campus today! 🙁

    • Talei Howell-Price says:

Sorry Cara we have an enthusiastic intern working for us today! Won’t happen again please go to our facebook page to see today’s roster!

  19. Blake says:

Hi guys, sorry couldn’t make it to Welcome Dinner tonight (working). How did it go? Many attend?

  20. Adam Nevin says:

Unfortunately, one of the two staff working Meast today was without any “pleases” or “thank yous” when taking and delivering my order whatsoever. If her excuse for this behaviour is that it was a busy period then other food trucks’ staff do the courtesies better, be it at peak hour or not. Look no further than The Melt Hub in my food truck experience. Despite it being a very yummy Chicken Arab-style I regretfully will be choosing other food trucks in future.

    • Talei says:

      Hi Adam
Thank you for the feedback I will make sure it gets passed on to Meast.

    • Meast - Middle Eastern Street Food says:

      Hi Adam,
So sorry to receive the feedback from you. We have a new staff member in training so it was likely she is still a bit nervous getting used to customer service in the food truck. We always try to have a smile on our faces and only ever want the customer to have an amazing experience and it really saddens us that this wasn’t the case. I will speak to the staff member in question to ensure this doesn’t happen again and really do hope this experience doesn’t put you off from coming back to us in future.

  21. Marko says:

Hey guys, has the Technology Park food truck location changed at all? I went up there today and the Melt Hub was nowhere to be seen! Happened on Tuesday as well, no Pasta Truck… 🙁

    • Talei Howell-Price says:

      Hi Marko
Sorry I do try to get the word out via email and facebook but it’s hard to find everyone. Tuesday the Pasta Truck burnt out his clutch and Thursday The Melt Hub read the roster incorrectly. Hope we can fix this up for next week.

  22. Nicole says:

No food trucks in tech park this week? Whats going on? Its been a bit rough the last two weeks.

    • Talei Howell-Price says:

Hi Nicole – Spunky Spud will be there on Tuesday! Unfortunately as it is a student-free week many trucks use this time to service their vehicles. It has been rough the past few weeks and we have been disappointed, it is a difficult location to fill as the sales are not high and we are very grateful to the wonderful trucks who do turn up. Anything you could do to rally the troops or any advice you have on promoting the food trucks in Tech Park please let us know. Moving forward; Spunky Spud are now permanently at Tech Pk on Tuesdays and Streat Eats will be back regularly on Fridays from the 9th October.

  23. Samm says:

Hi, Can you please bring back Jumplings for 2017!!! They have been greatly missed this year.

    • Talei Howell-Price says:

      Hi Samm
We did offer Jumplings 4 days on campus but unfortunately they did not accept the offer.

  24. Duncan says:

    What about Saturday?

    • Talei Howell-Price says:

      Hi Duncan
Unfortunately there are not enough people on campus to generate business for a food truck on Saturday.

  25. Justine says:

Another quality moment fully enjoyed by both my stomach & my mouth!! Thanks to the best food truck on campus.. the Melt Hub!! Amaze-balls!!!

  26. Madeleine says:

The meatball melt from The Melt Hub is to die for! As are all of their sandwiches – honestly the best food truck on campus.

  27. Antoni says:

For anyone trying to decide which food truck to go to or even lunch in general, I would definitely recommend The Melt Hub best sandwiches out there especially the meatball melt and and any sandwich featuring the legendary bacon jam, it’s a shame that stuff isn’t being sold by the bottle on its own. 11/10 would recommend.

  28. Hollie says:

Are the food trucks operating this week, as I cannot see a listing?

    • Talei Howell-Price says:

Yes they are – apologies on the delay, in the process of updating now.

  29. SEAN POWERS says:

WA Spit Roasts have Beef and Pork slow cooked in our German designed Rotisserie oves slow cooked for 10 hours at 90 degree carved to order and placed in a fresh buttered roll with optional mustard and gravy,
Also a daily fresh garden salad and coleslaw.
Bottled spring water and soda drinks

The rolls sell for $8 drinks for $2
Would we be able to submit an application to have a site at the Curtin University, So many people have mentioned to us about it and how we would be popular there, yet I have no idea at this point in submitting an interest to the organisers

    • Talei Howell-Price says:

Hi Sean, I have sent you an email about our EOI for Food Trucks. Cheers Talei

  30. Rose says:

Just had a Pork & Pretzel melt from Melt Hub – absolutely delish!! One of their best creations yet 🙂

  31. Adam Nevin says:

The food truck schedule looks like a muddle of next week’s dates and today’s (Fri 5th); next Mon 7th, Tue 8th, Wed 9th, Thu 10, and Fri 5th (today)

  32. Dee says:

Absolutely love The Melt Hub and Juice Face – they’ve been my go-to food trucks this year! hope they are back in the new year, Park’d is the one of Curtin’s best ideas ever!

  33. Erin says:

Can we please have vans back at Technology Park??!!

We love them as we are lazy and don’t want to go far for lunch! =)

    • Talei Howell-Price says:

Hi Erin unfortunately the food trucks were not getting enough sales to justify continuing at Technology Park. We did give it a go for 12 months but it is not financially viable for these small businesses, and Park’d cannot continue to pressure trucks to go there when it costs them money. However, the ever loyal Greek Streats will continue to serve their delicious meals on Fridays and I hope from time to time you will jump onto the shuttle bus to try out the new food trucks on campus in 2017.

  34. jesus says:

Hi, we are interested in getting involved for next year. Who can we speak with about the products and registering our interest as well as requirements and conditions?

    • Talei Howell-Price says:

Unfortunately our EOI’s have just closed and the trucks have been selected for Semester 1, 2017. Applications for semester 2 will open in April, please keep an eye on this webpage for details closer to the time.

  36. Phil Chilton says:

Hi. Is the Pink Van going to come back to the ‘Creative Quarter’ any time soon?

    • Talei Howell-Price says:

Hi Phil, it is indeed The Pink Van will be back on campus on Monday 13 February with new owner Adam and his niece.

  37. Tracy says:

Hi was wondering what happened to the Boost Juice trucks?

    • Talei Howell-Price says:

      Hi Tracy
Boost Juice is not on campus this year, however we have Juice Face and Crush Juice on campus who do amazing, fresh juice and smoothies!

  38. Muru says:

  40. - says:

Please update this page frequently and accurately. It should match what you post on FB.

    • Talei Howell-Price says:

Hi we update this page every Friday and as frequently as we can when the trucks
notify us of changes – which they sometimes don’t. Please use the Facebook page as a more accurate source of information as we can update that page while out and about on campus coordinating our events, we are not always in the office in front of the computer.

  41. DJ Wehr says:

Nicely Spiced dished up a vegan Mumbai wrap today which was underwhelming unfortunately. My $9 wrap was cold and it contained two large pieces of beetroot a couple of small pieces of cold cooked potato and some raw onion. It was neither appetizing nor value for money. Sorry to provide negative feedback 🙁

    • Talei Howell-Price says:

Thank you for letting us know and we will forward your comment on to them for a response. Many thanks.

    • Robert van Beek says:

      Dear Dimity,

We sincerely apologise if you didn’t enjoy your Mumbai Wrap today. We wish you had returned to the van and shared your experience with us directly so that we had the opportunity to satisfy your tastebuds.

The Mumbai wrap which is based upon the Mumbai Sandwich, is traditionally served cold, although we warm our tortilla slightly. We then add warm potato slices, beetroot, onion, cucumber and tomato slices, mango chutney, masala and sweet chilli sauce. The warm ingredients cool quickly due to the salad and sauces. We are always happy to include or remove anything that does not suit your taste. It goes without saying that if any of these ingredients were not present in your wrap, this is unacceptable and we would have been more than happy to replace it or refund you immediately. The Mumbai Wrap has been on our menu for the past 3 years and is very popular.

Please come by Nicely Spiced again for a free wrap. As a small business we take great pride in offering fresh, unique flavours and our customers, and their satisfaction are extremely important to us.

We were looking forward to having Greek Streats at Tech Park today, as we do each week.

Checked this site as well as your facebook page just before we left to make sure it was there but it wasn’t listed so we reluctantly settled on going elsewhere for lunch. We later found out from a colleague that Greek Streats was indeed at Tech Park today.

Very disappointed we missed out and also disappointed Greek Streats isn’t being properly promoted to the public as they are they only truck that bother coming to Tech Park at the moment

    • Talei Howell-Price says:

Sorry we made a mistake this week, Greek Streats are a much loved part of our food truck team.

  43. Linda says:

Just had lunch from Melt Hub – terrific as always, its my number one food truck!

  44. Kelvin says:

Hi, we are having a store selling “bak kwa” which is a kind of famous pork jerky from Singapoor. And we are planning to have a van and introduce our pork jerky and sugar cane juice in the next food festival, could u tell me whom should I speak to? And when is the nearest food festival?

    • Talei Howell-Price says:

Hi Kelvin the Asian markets today were run by the Curtin CSSA Club, it might be best to get in touch with them directly here.

  45. Talei Howell-Price says:

Hi Roopika, Place Activation only runs the food truck program, you would need to talk to the retail outlets and guild on campus directly regarding your product. In regards to the Food Trucks they are listed here.

  46. Saanvi says:

We headed to the Technology Park food truck yesterday for Comida Du Sol and the truck was not even there so we missed out again. On another note, will Greek Streats be at Technology Park this week?

    • Talei Howell-Price says:

Apologies Saanvi, Comida Du Sol will be starting Monday’s from the 24 July. That was our mistake. Yes Greek Streats will be there on Friday. Unfortunately Melt Hub will not make it on Thursday.

  47. Saanvi says:

Okay thanks Talei. Greek Streats is not listed on your the Friday’s locations

  48. Ray Sangaran says:

    • Talei Howell-Price says:

Hi I will email you. Applications for Semester 1, 2018 open in November.

  49. donna says:

loving all the food trucks around uni 🙂 will the melt hub and streets oasis be around next week?? they are two of my faves.

  50. Carey says:

What’s going on with Combi Coffee? They’re appearing on the roster at building 304 but are never here – I need a sherpa coffee!

    • Talei Howell-Price says:

      Hi Carey
Sorry it has been a bit up in the air – but the news is now that the business has been sold and they will not be back this year. Shame as we miss their coffee too!

  51. Adam Nevin says:

The Spanish Casa is great value for money from this family run business. Excellent hamburger and chips @ $10 and comes with a side of warm, friendly banter and conversation from the staff!

  52. Gelato Carts says:

Good work…unique site and interesting too… keep it up…looking forward for more updates. I was really impressed by your blog please keep on sharing such blog.

  53. Erin English says:

    Hi Curtain U

we have Hogsbreath food truck and would love to come to campus! Who can i speak to about any future openings or opportunities?

    • Talei Howell-Price says:

I will email you directly. Cheers

  54. Matteo says:

Very disappointing that The Spanish Casa isn’t available on most days and in the same location as last semester! Wonderful ladies and excellent food… hopefully this is changed 🙁
One of the very few food trucks that caters to multiple different tastes/dietary requirements so it was nice to always have something available

  55. Lin Fritschi says:

it’s annoying that on a Friday I can’t find out what is available today but only what is available next week. How about updating the page after lunch instead of in the morning.

  56. Katie says:

Will there be any more food vans coming to Tech Park, or only Greek Streats?

    • 268989b says:

Hi Katie 🙂 At the moment we also have Jumplings coming down every Thursday!

  57. R says:

Please stop updating the truck list on a Friday.
It means that you cannot see what trucks are available that day, and can only see the schedule for the following week.
If you updated the list on the Monday instead this could be avoided.

    • 268989b says:

Hi R, we have taken note of this and will aim to publish towards the end of a Friday to not inconvenience you. Alternatively you can also find the food truck locations on our Explore Curtin page @ExploreCurtin updated 5.00pm the day prior to trading for every week day. We also have our weeks listing posted on our Instagram @Explore_Curtin under the food trucks tab! We apologise for any inconvenience.

  58. James says:

There don’t seem to be as many food trucks on campus on Wednesdays. I know that there are sometimes other options on Wednesdays at lunchtime such as the international food fair at Henderson court but this is only some Wednesdays during semester and there seem to be almost no food trucks on any given Wednesday, which is a little surprising given that it is student free time.

  59. Toni says:

Really love the Melt Hub! It’s been such a shame that they aren’t on campus more often. Missed out on getting a sandwich last week. Where were they?!

  60. JD says:

    Hi Curtin Univ,

We are doing yummy fusion Korean street food and would like to know how to get a spot in the campus
That would be nice if I can have some info about how & when to apply 🙂
