This WA in the Spotlight workshop brings together leading researchers and policymakers from WA to shed light on the social impacts of wealth inequality at different stages of the life course.

The workshop will feature presentations on; Wealth inequality among older Australians and links to the superannuation system – by Helen Hodgson, an Associate Professor from the Curtin Law School and a former Member of the Legislative Council in WA; The extent to which access to family wealth and intergenerational wealth transfers affect the health and wellbeing of younger Australians – by Garth Kendall, a Senior Lecturer in the School of Nursing and Midwifery at Curtin University and an Honorary Research Fellow at the Telethon Kids Institute.

The two presenters will be joined by policy and industry representatives in a panel discussion with panellists:
