- 13 Feb to 15 Feb 2019
- 9.00am to 4.30pm
- Curtin St George's Tce, Perth WA
The task was to design an urban area for one million people on Mars and then bringing it to life through virtual reality.
Curtin’s participation in the MARS HP project was facilitated through student engagement in an elective unit associated with the Product, Furniture and Jewellery Design Major.
Curtin students from different design majors were involved in this unique design challenge.
Students worked collaboratively through the application of design process to develop individual design solutions related to the competition category of ‘Lifestyle’ – a unique and specific matter for consideration in relation to the physical location of humans on Mars.
The exhibition is free and no registration is required.
