Please join Elizabeth Foley, CEO & Managing Director of Research Australia, for a health and medical research breakfast workshop on Tuesday 1 April.

We are pleased to announce that the Hon. Dr Kim Hames, Deputy Premier, Minister for Health will be attending the breakfast to discuss his views on West Australian health and medical research and the implications of the McKeon Review. 

Elizabeth will then discuss the following topics as they relate to Research Australia and our membership:

  • Federal Budget implications
  • Will there be any response to McKeon?
  • Investing in health services research
  • Philanthropy update: our work with Philanthropy Australia; Research Australia Conference; Latest Research
  • Potential new funding sources – Social Impact Bonds, what are they?
  • What’s the latest in research driving manufacturing jobs?
