This presents real challenges for humanities, arts, and social sciences (HASS) disciplines, because relatively little of what we do is large-scale commercial research. It also presents real opportunities for us, because the digitisation of commerce is transforming traditional notions of “industry” by decentralising and disrupting established models and enabling global innovation to flow from low-capital SMEs, creatives, and “makers.” See the day’s program and register now!
