An essential workshop that provides an understanding of Aboriginal culture and provides participants with the ability to adapt organisational strategies to work with Aboriginal people.
Ngalang Katijininy (Our Learning)
This workshop involves immersive activities that expose participants to history, values, belief systems and world view of Aboriginal Peoples or in short the Aboriginal way of being, doing and knowing. It outlines the contact history between the Aboriginal peoples of Western Australia and the colonisers, sharing Australia’s story. It aims to develop and build the awareness and understanding of Aboriginal Australian culture, contemporary realities and Indigenous protocols.
