Learn about Relay for Life, the 24 hour fundraising event for the Cancer Council.

Meetings take place once a month from April to October
6pm - 7pm

Relay For Life Curtin is a 24-hour fundraising event hosted by the Curtin Leadership Centre in conjunction with the Cancer Council of Western Australia. During the event, teams of 10-15 people continue to make their way around a track for 24hrs, representing the continual struggle of those suffering from cancer. Relay For Life is an opportunity to celebrate, remember and fight back! against cancer, while raising funds for cancer research, support services and education.

Relay For Life Curtin Team Captain Meetings are open to Team Captains, and anyone else who wishes to find out more about Relay.

12 pm – 12.30 pm, Building 402, Room 329, Curtin University Bentley Campus

This meeting will be a general introduction to Relay, including what to expect at the event, fundraising tips, and other ways to get more involved in the event.

22 September 2014

6pm – 7pm, Building 303, Room 284, Curtin University Bentley Campus

This meeting will focus on the logistics of the event, including everything you need to have a fun, safe and memorable Relay.

13 October 2014

6pm – 7.30pm, Edinburgh Oval South, Curtin University Bentley Campus

This Relay For Life Team Captains Meeting is compulsory for all Team Captains registered for the event. It involves an onsite walk through of the oval. T-shirts and Team Kits will also be provided at this meeting.
