Strava Walk/Run Competition

Are you looking for an excuse to get moving? Whether you are out-and-about or walking around your home, join Curtin students from all over the world and participate in the Strava Walk/Run competition. The student who walks or runs the furthest distance by 28 November will be sent a Curtin prize pack and medal.

To take part just follow these steps:

  1. Download the free app Strava
  2. Search ‘Curtin International Walk Run Club’ in Strava and join the club
  3. Ensure that you have set your Strava privacy settings to ‘public’ or ‘everyone’ to display your progress on the club leaderboard
  4. Click ‘record’ on the Strava app when you run or walk from 18 October until 28 November to track and add your distance to the leaderboard
  5. Start walking and running!

For safety and your privacy, it is suggested that you set up a privacy zone of your home or regular run location so your activity cannot be seen within a 1km radius. For instructions on how to do this, please view our Strava privacy controls instructions.
