Are you looking for an excuse to get moving? Whether you are out-and-about or walking around your home, join Curtin students from all over the world and participate in the Strava Walk/Run competition. The student who walks or runs the furthest distance by 28 November will be sent a Curtin prize pack and medal.
To take part just follow these steps:
- Download the free app Strava
- Search ‘Curtin International Walk Run Club’ in Strava and join the club
- Ensure that you have set your Strava privacy settings to ‘public’ or ‘everyone’ to display your progress on the club leaderboard
- Click ‘record’ on the Strava app when you run or walk from 18 October until 28 November to track and add your distance to the leaderboard
- Start walking and running!
For safety and your privacy, it is suggested that you set up a privacy zone of your home or regular run location so your activity cannot be seen within a 1km radius. For instructions on how to do this, please view our Strava privacy controls instructions.
