The masterclass will be run by an experienced group of Silicon Valley entrepreneurs who have found massive success through tech innovation. The number of attendees will be kept low to allow closer interactions between you and the presenters.

8.30 am to 12.30 pm, with an optional tour of the Pawsey Supercomputing Centre.

Presenters include:

  • Bill Tai: A computer chip designer turned venture capitalist, Bill is one of the Silicon Valley’s top investors. He is a board member of several tech-based companies, including BitFury, Lulu, Maxthon, Miselu and Voxer. Bill has been an Adjunct Professor of Innovation at Curtin University since 2011.
  • Christian Sanz: The CEO and founder of Skycatch, a visual data collection company.
  • Melanie Perkins: The young Australian CEO and founder of Canva, a software development company that has created easy-to-use design tools.
  • Tom Katis: The CEO and founder of Voxer, an app and software development company known for its eponymous live-messaging app.
