      Hi Anna,

      Thanks for your enquiry.

UniReady has a number of contribution exempt (fee free) places for Semester 2 2019. Applications will be assessed based on student equity, needs and time of application.
Applications for UniReady semester 2 close on June 28, although I would highly recommend applying as soon as possible. This will increase your chances of securing a contribution exempt place.

      Steps to Apply

      1. Apply for UniReady using Curtin’s online eApplications system:
      2. Consider if you have experienced any of the circumstances that require extra documentation (Medical issues and disability, Home environment and responsibilities). If so, you must complete an Educational Disadvantage form ( and email it to along with the required supporting documentation.
      • If you need to submit an Educational Disadvantage form, you do not need to wait until you have arranged your form and supporting documentation to apply. After you have submitted your application, email your completed form and documentation to prior to application closing dates.
      3. Wait to find out if we are able to offer you a Contribution Exempt place in UniReady. You may not hear about your application until applications close. Please ensure you frequently check your junk/spam mail, as sometimes communications from Curtin can be filtered as junk.
