Come to The HIVE and see the visualisation technology projects of our students from Curtin’s Visualisation Media course. Be immersed in the future of media presentation with the latest technologies utilized by IMAX to create 3D animated films, in-air interaction, virtual reality, 3D motion pictures, new ways of interactivity, the Oculus Rift, and other new human-computer interfaces.

Curtin University’s VisMedia program explores the innovative use of visualisation technologies and interactive media as means of communication. Visualisation and interactive media has a vast array of applications, including digital games, art and entertainment, social media, mobile media, virtual and augmented reality, 3D, user generated content, interactive cinema, and digital humanities.
