The announcement of TEE results can release a rush of mixed emotions especially if the results are not what the student was expecting.

To help reduce student anxiety, Curtin University of Technology has set up a special service for all applicants, with a specific focus on providing expert advice on the next steps to enter their chosen course.

Curtin’s Future Students Help Team assists those looking at studying in 2010 with their TER (ATAR) queries, university applications and scholarships information.

Curtin Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academic, Professor Jane den Hollander, emphasised the importance of providing future students with a support network.

“The release of the TEE results and the subsequent decision-making process can be a confusing time for students, and this specialised help team is Curtin’s way of assisting students with their queries,” she said.

“Students who receive unexpected TEE results may be confused over the options available to them, and we can provide some much-needed advice.”

Future students can call (08) 9266 1000 or 1300 28 1000 or visit Curtin’s Help Team at the Bentley Campus from 10am – 3pm on 30 and 31 December 2009 and 8.30am – 4.45pm from 4 January 2010, or go to our Unihelp webpages.
