Reclaiming Curtin Campus as a Safe Space

Reclaiming the Curtin Campus as a Safe Space, a safety awareness initiative hosted by the Curtin Student Guild Women’s Department, is being held tomorrow Wednesday 22 October at Curtin University of Technology’s Bentley Campus.

Free personal safety information will be available and there will be a free sausage sizzle and live music at the event from 12.00pm-2.00pm in Henderson Court.

Representatives from the local Police, Transperth, Curtin Security, the Gender and Sexuality Department, the International Students Committee, and the Curtin Student Guild Women’s Department will be present.

Curtin Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academic Professor Jane den Hollander and representatives from the Guild Women’s Department will be speaking at the event.

Attention Editor/COS: Media parking will be available in P31 – enter at the main Kent Street entrance along Beazley Drive.
