Image for COVID-19 Update: 11 October

The WA Government has announced that, as of Friday 14 October, mandatory COVID-19 isolation requirements will be removed, in line with the decision made by National Cabinet on 30 September 2022.

Students and staff are asked to continue to stay at home when unwell, or when waiting for the results of a COVID test. There may also be additional requirements for entry into health and aged care settings.

While it may seem the threat of COVID-19 is largely over, members of our community are still testing positive on a regular basis. I would like to remind all students of the importance of being up to date with vaccinations, wearing masks in crowded indoor spaces and maintaining good personal hygiene.

Free RAT tests are still available on the Bentley, Midland and Kalgoorlie campuses.
