Join the Curtin Volunteers! Leadership Team to make a positive impact on your community, gain leadership skills and enhance your university experience!

Applications are now open for students to apply for a number of leadership roles within CV!

As a leader, you will get the opportunity to play a pivotal role in one of CV!’s many activities which span a wide range of interests.

I joined Curtin Volunteers! leadership to improve my employability and have since discovered wonderful and fulfilling enjoyment in giving back to the community.

Leadership of a CV! Program is a solid way to grow organisational and communication skills which are invaluable in your career. The tasks are always manageable and only take a few hours a week, and both the children and adults I have worked with are incredibly grateful for the support which always leaves a feeling of meaningful contribution.” – Keehan Smith

This is a great opportunity for you to demonstrate, and further develop skills that will benefit you both personally and professionally.

As a CV! Leader, you are also eligible to get Curtin Extra accreditation as part of your participation.

A big outcome of being part of the leadership team has not only been developing useful transferable skills but also gaining the confidence to use them. For someone who was always the “shy one”, confidence in myself and my ability to lead others is something I am very glad I have been able to work on.

And getting to work with some people doing amazing things in the community is a real highlight of being a CV! leader. Everyone is always so happy to have volunteers to help out and really appreciative of you as the leader for helping organise this.” – Simonne Brown
