Want to strengthen your leadership skills?

News story

Explore your leadership potential with our Game Changers workshop series!

Three people celebrate reaching a summit by sunrise.

You’re invited to attend a series of highly engaging, introductory online leadership workshops, underpinned by the Social Change Model of leadership development.

The Game Changers series will support you in developing the skills, mindsets, and habits of a values-driven leader, with the capacity to lead from where you are. You will have the opportunity to consider your own leadership identity and personal philosophy while reflecting on real-world volunteering or work experiences.

Available both online and on-campus, you’ll get to work alongside other like-minded students to learn leadership fundamentals including goal setting, teamwork, public speaking, building networks and more.

With a new topic each week, these workshops are facilitated by students for students who want to share the skills, tools and mindsets that have enabled them to lead across different aspects of their lives.

The workshop series will take place weekly, commencing in August until mid-October. You are welcome to attend all the workshops in the series or to select only those that are of particular interest to you.

Game Changers forms a part of Curtin’s strategy to partner with students as long-term drivers of change within society – working together to Make Tomorrow Better.
