Plan ahead for exams on 28 October

News story

Curtin will not be observing the public holiday on Friday 28 October, which coincides with the Commonwealth Heads of Government (CHOGM) meeting held in Perth that weekend.

Exams on the day will go ahead as scheduled, and students are urged to plan their travel arrangements to Curtin well in advance due to public transport disruptions and road closures. St George’s Terrace and Adelaide Terrace will be closed from the Causeway to Kings Park, there will be no CAT buses or otherwise moving along the terrace, and the Esplanade Bus Station will be closed.

Further information on road closures and public transport can be found on the Transperth website.

The Guild would appreciate if academics with exams scheduled early or late on the Friday the 28th could contact their students to remind them that their may be limited public transport at those times and to plan accordingly.
