Transition to adulthood: Supporting individuals on the autism spectrum

News story

We are developing a transition program for autistic young adults to improve outcomes in the major life areas of employment, education, community participation and quality of life.

In this study, we are looking for autistic adolescents and young adults to participate in an interview or focus group. The findings from this study will help us understand autistic perspectives on what a successful transition to adulthood might look like.

Participants will take part in a 45 – 60 minute focus group or interview about transitioning to adulthood.

We are looking for:

  • adolescents and adults with a diagnosis of autism aged 16 years and above
  • parents of adolescents and young adults with a diagnosis of autism aged 16 years and above

As a token of appreciation for your time, each participant will receive a $20 Coles/Myer gift card.
